Manoca has over the past few years developed a software package – CostCon – which is now used by companies throughout New Zealand in the Construction / Contracting industry.

The original emphasis was placed on Tender & Job documentation and associated Job Management & Back Costing tools for Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors in the Commercial Construction sector to perform key industry processes including:

  • Payment Schedules
  • Variations management
  • Retention administration


  • Then a full suite of accounting modules (Debtors, Creditors, Inventory, General Ledger) have been progressively added to create a fully integrated package.

    Recently an Estimating / Quoting module was commissioned to automate the Take Offs process. Libraries can be set up for a combination of modules that may be required in any of your building drawings. By entering Dimensions once only, many of the individual Elements can be populated with calculations from preset formulas. Then the Quote Letter can be produced in various forms (Summary / Trade Summary) presenting the Quotation including details of Tags associated with this Job.

    The latest version of CostCon has been enhanced even further to manage various contract types that are encountered in the industry including:
